The fort itself is made up of havelis, ancient jain temples and five interrelated forts. There are four gateways to approach the fort that are Hava Pol, Suraj Pol, Ganesh Pol and Akhaiyal. This fort is the second oldest one in the state and the wells inside the fort are capable enough to give constant water supply in today date also. The fort is huge in structures as well as it 250ft tall and castellated wall made from stand stone which is also tall by 30 ft.
